tom ford has been extremely elusive about any plans for a women’s wear line. he has been saying only that timing will have to be based on financial means. and although his team will neither confirm [nor deny!], sources are saying that tom has been observing givenchy’s women’s designer [caroline tixier] and alexander mcqueen’s accessories designer [pablo coppola]. the highly-anticipated collection may even be unveiled in spring 2011. keep those fingers crossed!
lusting for these twists on the classic, burberry trench. this biker-style trench is the classic style covered in zippers and adorned with a bold, black and white inner check. so necessary. $1,195 at net-a-porter.
and this baby? the duchesse silk knotted epaulette trench is every bit as fabulous as the name. knotted epauelettes create a shoulder pad effect which goes nicely with the gun flap at the left chest. perfect for spring. $2,795 at burberry.
