it’s my birthday, and the start to summer numero dos in new york city. so, like
last year, my plan is to make this blog a bit more of a digi-diary of my summer.
not just of things i do [though that’s included], but mostly of things i see that
inspire me. after 5 hours of exploring the city today, here’s what i have to offer:

i need to stop buying new shoes, but these i love.

because i just bought some stretchy lace-up heels, i can confidently say elastic makes even the highest heels comfortable. that being said, i can guarantee these super sharp sandals are worth every penny. $220 at oak.

i’m in love with this spread. so sparkly and colorful. pure joy.

i love pretty much anything designed by alaia, and these shoes are certainly no exception. they’re sexy but still so mature, and the detail is fabulous. if only the heel was a bit thicker— i’m digging chunky heels. either way, these shoes are rockin’ and i’d gladly frolic around the city in these babies. $1,805 at net-a-porter.
